Why counselling?
Do you feel unhappy? Anxious? Stuck? Perhaps you're struggling with your relationships or feeling unheard. Whatever you're going through, counselling can help.
Counselling allows you a safe space for reflection and can aid you in your journey to self-discovery. I understand how it feels to need someone to listen. Maybe you don't get chance to talk openly with the people in your life, or perhaps you've fallen into unhelpful patterns. With my support, we can begin to change this.
My philosophy
I work in an integrative way, meaning I can bring together different approaches depending on your needs. This always comes from a person-centred place, where I will work with you. Every person deserves to be seen as a unique, three-dimensional individual.

One of the biggest things I can help with is facilitating awareness. Awareness of your past, your relationships, who you are, and what you want. Many people struggle to recognise or express certain parts of themselves, but I hope with my help you can begin to feel whole and become your true self.

Sometimes it’s hard to find the words; in these times, we can try working in a more creative way if you find this helpful. I also offer walk & talk therapy for those that find inspiration from being in nature. Some clients may want a little more direction and I am happy to offer this where needed.

It’s about figuring out who you are and what you want. I will do my best to meet you where you are on your journey and share that journey with you.

Services
I provide counselling face-to-face, both indoors at two locations in Plymouth, and outdoors as part of the walk & talk therapy I offer. I also provide online and telephone therapy.
Face-to-face
Plymouth Offices
I work out of one therapy room based in the Estover area of Plymouth (PL6), which has free on-site parking, and one near Marsh Mills, Plympton (PL7), with plenty of free on-street parking available. Each is within a 5-minute walk of the nearest bus stop. Both are private and comfortable spaces for you to drop off your troubles. The rooms are on the ground floor.
Remote
Via Video Call or Phone
Phone or online therapy can be just as effective as face-to-face. Some people even find it easier to open up when they're not in the same room. No matter where you live, as long as you're in a private space, you have the option of Teams, WhatsApp or phone sessions to fit around your lifestyle.
Walk & Talk
Outdoors in Plymouth
I offer walk & talk therapy in safe, well-populated areas within Plymouth but with enough space to allow privacy. My usual suggestion is Central Park. If you prefer, we can always find a spot to sit. To passers-by we would just look like two friends talking. Dogs welcome!
