My Background

Experience

My training was in integrative counselling, which taught me about many different counselling theories and modalities. The main approaches I draw from include person-centred therapy, transactional analysis (TA), attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.

I work with adults of all ages, regardless of background, race, religion, ethnicity, disability status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. I have experience of providing counselling across different settings, including charity and educational environments. I work with a range of different issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, grief, identity, and low self-esteem. If you’re not sure if your concern is something I can help with, just get in touch to arrange a free initial 20-minute telephone call and we can discuss it.
