About Me
Hello, I’m Laurel (she/her). I’m a qualified counsellor based in Plymouth, Devon.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their ethical guidelines.
My Background
"Leaves fall and you've got to keep raking them"
Experience
My training was in integrative counselling, which taught me about many different counselling theories and modalities. The main approaches I draw from include person-centred therapy, transactional analysis (TA), attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness.
I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds. I have experience of providing counselling across different settings, including charity and educational environments. I work with a range of different issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, grief, identity, and low self-esteem. If you’re not sure if your concern is something I can help with, just get in touch and we can discuss it.
